The job involves managing a product team for developing
a product that performs HIPAA-compliant electronic
claims processing.
The product is targeted at the US healthcare
market and should seamlessly integrate into
the healthcare provider's medical billing /
practice management software to handle insurance
claim transactions between the healthcare provider
and the payers (insurance companies). |

| 1. |
The successful candidate will have a combination
of technical and functional skills: should have
managed / lead the development and delivery of
a HIPAA-based software product / project and have
domain expertise in medical billing and electronic
insurance claim processing with several insurance
companies (payers), especially Medicare, Medicaid
and BC/BS. |
|
|
| 2. |
Must have implemented several HIPAA EDI Standard
Formats (transactions) including 270, 271, 276,
277, 278, 820, 834, 835, 837p, 837i and 837d. |
|
|
| 3. |
Should have worked with ANSI X12, HCFA 1500, NSF, UB92 and other similar formats. |
|
|
| 4. |
Excellent leadership, logical, analytical, interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
